As an AVP, Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across Everest. You will work closely with IT & business stakeholders to understand their data needs, review existing data assets, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. You will also be a strong collaborator who thrives at the intersection of business/data and technical delivery.Key Responsibilities:Review & document current data assets across source systemsDocument the current process and limitations of the current processPerform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomaliesGenerate the artifacts to showcase mapping and global transformation rules that needs to be applied to the dataWork closely with data architects and business analysts to understand the global data reporting requirements and standardsValidate data accuracy, completeness and integrity of the data in the source systemsIdentify and document data quality issues and discrepanciesProvide decision-support through ad-hoc analysis, data profiling etc.Provide product ownership and technical support to developersSupport multiple project(s) from a SDLC perspectiveQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field10-15 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in the P&C insurance industrySolid knowledge of the P&C insurance domain particularly policy & claims management systemsProven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).Experience working in Cloud native technologiesStrong experience in Data Modeling, Data Governance & MDMStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights to senior stakeholdersA collaborative mindset and the ability to build alignment across teamsExperience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Nice to Have:Exposure to modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics environmentsExperience supporting data governance initiativesExperience managing and working closely with development team(s)Experience performing Product owner roles is a plusThe base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $210,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
