Community Relations Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Community Relations Coordinator to strengthen relationships with community partners, volunteers, donors, and stakeholders. This role is responsible for promoting the organization’s mission, coordinating outreach activities, managing community engagement efforts, and supporting fundraising and public awareness initiatives. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships, organizing events, and representing a nonprofit in the community. Responsibilities and Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Represent Crosspoint at community meetings, networking events, health fairs, business organizations, and outreach activities. Identify opportunities to expand community partnerships that support Crosspoint’s mission and strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, civic organizations, elected officials, healthcare providers, schools, businesses, and referral sources. Coordinate outreach activities that increase awareness of the organization’s programs and services. Coordinate marketing initiatives that promote Crosspoint programs, services, and organizational achievements. Assist with the development of newsletters, brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and annual reports. Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, community events, donor appreciation events, and public awareness campaigns. Support donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgement and communications. Coordinate photography and videography for organizational events and marketing purposes. Maintain calendars and timelines for marketing campaigns and community events. Schedule: Monday through Friday and some weekends and evenings depending on events Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education. Two to five years of experience in community relations, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred. Experience coordinating events and building community partnerships is highly desirable. Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or human services is a plus.
