Job Description and Duties

Golden Gate Communications Center (GGCC) is a public safety answering point. PSO’s answer 9-1-1 calls, public and allied agency calls, and make out-going calls to service providers, allied agencies and citizens. This classification requires a certified net typing speed of 40 words per minute.

Working Conditions

Golden Gate Communications Center (GGCC) is on the 3/12 alternate work week with quarterly seniority shift and RDO sign ups. Our center is conveniently located near several cultural and outdoor recreational areas.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) a(n) Typing Certificate. You will be required to provide a copy of your certificate prior to being hired.
