Licensed Electrician

Key Responsibilities Perform highly skilled electrical maintenance tasks including equipment installation. Repair and perform preventive maintenance on electrical machinery such as AC/DC motors, drives, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyors, packaging systems, instrumentation, and PLC controls. Analyze the cause of breakdowns during downtime and determine necessary repairs to return equipment to effective operating conditions. Follow safety lockout procedures, plant safety rules, and maintain excellent housekeeping practices to keep a clean work environment. Work independently as well as in a group. Perform other duties as assigned. Model company core values. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Stable employment history with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent education, such as a vocational/technical school certificate or diploma. Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on‑call duties, rotating shifts, and holidays. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools. Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics. Troubleshooting experience, including use of test instruments such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, megger, etc. Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation. Ability to work in extreme heat or cold, navigate catwalks and ladders, and perform essential physical functions such as climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, and bending. Effective communication skills. Understanding of complex work instructions and documentation. Mathematical skill applied in an industrial environment. Team oriented and willing to learn new jobs and skills. Commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations, including NEC and NFPA 70E (LOTO and Arc Flash). Knowledge of DC motors and motor controls. Knowledge of AC motors and motor controls. Knowledge of DC, VFD, and servo drives. Knowledge of single‑phase and three‑phase power distribution systems. Knowledge of various process instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, level, weight, etc.). Knowledge of PLC controls, HMI operator interfaces, and control system networking. Basic industrial mechanical knowledge. Experience with CMMS. Knowledge of fire alarm and protection systems. Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems. Excellent root cause analysis skills. Previous experience with Rockwell Software RSLogix5000 and FactoryTalk View Studio (Editor, Me, and SE), AB PowerFlex VFDs and Kinetics Servos, and Ethernet/IP networks using AB Stratix switches.
