Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter / Wallpaper Hanger to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in residential and commercial painting, wallpaper installation, and surface preparation. Attention to detail, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service are essential.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming walls and ceilings.
Apply paint, stain, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Measure, cut, match, and install wallpaper, murals, and decorative wall coverings.
Remove old paint and wallpaper safely and efficiently.
Repair drywall imperfections, cracks, and holes before finishing.
Mix and match paint colors to customer specifications.
Protect furniture, flooring, and surrounding areas during projects.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Operate ladders, scaffolding, and painting equipment safely.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Follow all company safety procedures and job site regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in painting and wallpaper installation preferred.
Knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and wallpaper application.
Ability to read measurements and estimate material needs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or scaffolding.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
