Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary Madrid Home seeks a caring Registered Nurse (RN) to join our award‑winning team, providing detailed resident care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Effectively communicate resident needs with physicians and supervisors Complete resident assessments as required and supervise LPNs in data gathering Maintain awareness of the condition of all residents under your care Accurately administer all medications, treatments, and physician orders, taking ultimate responsibility for resident care Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on special problems of care, resident transfers, and workload management Coordinate preparation and planning of resident admissions, recognizing family and others’ contributions to nursing care Provide emotional and physical comfort and safety for residents, and emotional support to families Supervise, assist, consult with, and teach certified nursing assistants Qualifications Graduate of a state board‑approved nursing school Currently licensed in Iowa Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it Availability to work weekends and holidays as required (hourly position) Exceptional attendance record Benefits Ability to be paid early Shift differential Alternate wage scale for those who waive benefits Continuing education opportunities Tuition and student‑loan reimbursement (full‑time) Health, dental, and vision insurance Flexible paid time off (PTO) 401(k) match Wellness reimbursement Employee assistance program Additional benefits available #J-18808-Ljbffr
