Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient Sports Medicine position on Nantucket Island, requiring an active MA PT license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Outpatient Sports Medicine setting at a community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+, with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, with shifts starting between 8:00–8:30 AM
• Charting is performed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Active Massachusetts PT license required; conditional licenses not accepted
• BLS certification required — AHA preferred; Red Cross also accepted
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Position is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
• Shared housing is provided at no cost to the traveler
• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
• Any requested time off must be disclosed prior to placement
• Time kept via UKG/Kronos
