About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required License: Active RN license in Michigan required Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active American Heart Association PALS Must-Have: - Cerner experience required - Charge experience required - TNCC preferred Description: Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes critical thinking and independent judgment in all phases of the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for the direction and supervision of the nursing patient care team, typically consisting of Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians. Collaborates with team members and other disciplines in the provision of care. Completes documentation of patient care, patient conditions, reactions, and responses to treatment in a timely manner and tracks patient progress. Requests for time off during the course of the assignment must be noted and verified at the upload. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Compliance with these requests is essential for approval.
