Personal Fitness Trainer

Our fitness studio is growing quickly, and we need a personal trainer to help our customers achieve their fitness goals. You'll be assessing our customers' fitness levels, creating personalized training routines, and ensuring they're utilizing equipment properly. This role requires outstanding customer service skills as well as a love for exercise and helping others improve their health and wellness. If you've worked as an instructor or personal trainer in the fitness industry and are looking for a new challenge, please apply today! Responsibilities Maintain all gym standards and safety requirements to ensure that clients are safe and comfortable while working out Monitor clients' progress and adjust their fitness plans accordingly Reduce the risk of injury by teaching clients good techniques for all activities, particularly those involving more advanced equipment Create personalized workout routines to help clients accomplish their fitness objectives while remaining within their present physical capability Ensure all workout programs are appropriate for each client by doing individualized fitness evaluations Qualifications This role requires fitness instructor or personal trainer certification Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers Outstanding time management and organizational skills Compensation $22 - $30 hourly About Valley Fitness - Gilroy Our Mission: “To build a company that provides a clean, friendly, and positive environment that energizes our members to reach their goals and open their minds to new possibilities.” At Valley Fitness, we’re not just a gym; we’re a thriving community dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals.
