Job Summary:

Provides diagnostic imaging services by operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to assist in medical diagnoses. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are captured for interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate CT equipment to produce accurate cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues.
  
  
• 
  Perform additional imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions, prepare patients for imaging procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly, ensuring optimal functionality.
  
  
• 
  Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer and store images.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines to protect patient data.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an associates degree in Radiologic Technology or relevant field.
  
  
• 
  Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with credentials R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
  
  
• 
  Possess current California Radiologic Tech license.
  
  
• 
  Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  
• 
  Have advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in CA, required in OR and HI).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate venipuncture certification if performing contrast administration.
