Patient Care Supervisor, NIGHTS, Med Surg, Dillon Join to apply for the Patient Care Supervisor, NIGHTS, Med Surg, Dillon role at McLeod Health 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Patient Care Supervisor, NIGHTS, Med Surg, Dillon role at McLeod Health Responsibilities Perform patient Care Management duties, maintaining an organized workflow and open communication, including development, evaluation, performance improvement, staffing patterns during the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with unit standards, policies and specific care standards, coordinating patient care activities for the assigned shift, and competently managing employee related complaints, issues and concerns to optimize the work environment. Assess the needs of the patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data while also providing appropriate age‑specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice. Supervise and ensure use of appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff. Participate in managing fiscal responsibility of the unit. Utilize standard work in relation to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum 2‑years nursing experience. Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse multistate license BLS on hire NIH Stroke Scale International, ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire Work Schedule Full-time, 72 hours bi‑weekly; Primarily Nights, 7p‑7a, could vary depending on needs About Us Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses.
