Job Purpose: As a Co-Occurring Disorders Counselor at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions in order to provide direct service time in professional level counseling and education to adult residential clients. Job Functions Providing counseling as needed Assessing clients for appropriate levels of care in accordance with ASAM criteria Collecting and preparing client information during stabilization and evaluation period Interfacing clinically with all Aspire clinical programs Demonstrating working knowledge regarding Baker Act, Marchman Act, Crisis Management, DSM IV and impairment levels Participating in Clinical Treatment Teams Working when needed to provide 24/7 coverage Adhering to DC&F, SAMH, CARF and other outside funding sources and/or accrediting agencies requirements and guidelines Receiving incoming calls and making appropriate referrals Assisting in providing training to new employees Ensuring the timely completion of SA&MH outcome measures, completing all required paperwork Participating in both verbal and de-escalation of a stressful situation Utilizing required technology to communicate effectively Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
