This roleis responsible forthe startup, commissioning, andfield modificationsof Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers. The Project Manager will work closely withinternal and external teams including engineering,factoryoperations,field service,commissioning authorities, general contractors, and subcontractors.The primary job sitesare located inthe West South-Central region of the United States including Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma,Louisianaand the surrounding area.Travelfrom a nearby regional home location is acceptable. Please note that extensive travel for onsite construction project management outside this geography may berequired.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Execution & ManagementLead startup, commissioning, andfield modificationprocesses for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in newly constructed data centers.Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.Track and review key performance indicators (KPIs) tomonitorproject success.Conduct progress meetings with stakeholders, addressing design, material delivery, and labor schedules.Ensure all projects meet or exceed booked profit margin goals.Work with project coordination to order and track all chiller parts needed for warranty execution.Stakeholder & Customer CoordinationCollaborate with sales, prime contractors, and end-users to fulfill project scope and deliverables.Serve as the primary liaisonrepresentingCarrier between the customer, commissioning authority, general contractor, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and project progression.Provide professional,timelyresolutionfor customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction with all aspects of project execution.Technical Expertise & ComplianceInterpret and apply mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.Ensure adherence to industry codes, standards, and project specifications.Apply working knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS) integration to ensure proper controls functionality.Manage the change order process, preventing scope creep andmaintainingproject integrity.Financial & Operational OversightAccurately forecast monthly revenue by estimating project completion costs.Manage project documentation, including warranty processing and factory-generated service information in collaboration with our Service Engineering team.Maintain rigorous job safety standards across all projects.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED.5+ years of experience in project management coordinating project schedules, deliverables, and activities involving multiple stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and/or customers; OR 4+ years of experience supporting mechanical, electrical, controls, commissioning, construction, or field service projects.2+yearsreading and interpreting blueprints and technical mechanical systems documents.Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within the USA as required by business needs.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; or aMaster'sdegree/MBA.Data center industry experience with water- or air-cooled chillers.Commercial HVACexpertise, including centrifugal chillers, Cooling Distribution Unitsystems, and airside equipment.Projection Management Professionalcertification.Leadership in Energy and Environmental Designcertification or experience with Building Automation SystemsStrong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers through active listening and effective solutions.Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually.
