Assembly Technician

Pay Range: $16.00hr - $21.00hr


Job Overview:


Responsible for performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Use of epoxies. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, bonding application, and torque assembly tools while working on small parts. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Work is performed all day on the production floor. Battery pack build.


Work Environment:


Seated position-benchwork, putting bonding and assembly parts together. ESD.


Must-Haves (Hard Skills):

• Computer literate.
• Ability to navigate different computer software.
• Requires minimal job knowledge or skills.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior related experience.

Nice-To-Haves (Hard Skills):

• Demonstrated proficiency at completing 1 to 3 different operations within a work cell.

Overall Summary:


Entry-level support individual contributor. Work is closely supervised. Work consists of routine tasks. Explains facts and practices related to the job area.


Nature of Supervision:


Works with close supervision on routine tasks. Detailed instructions are provided and close peer review is required.

Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.

Education & Experience:


Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
