As a Security Officer Patrol Services in Amherst, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, reliable approach, working as part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and people-first service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information through proper reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and support adherence to site protocols for employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Assist with alarm response, suspicious activity follow-up, and other security-related duties as assigned, while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with site contacts and first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
