Start: ASAP
Assignment: 1 year with possibility to extend
Schedule: 40 hours/week | 4 days/week
Setting: Outpatient Oncology
License: Active Massachusetts license required

OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a General Medical Oncologist with primarily GI oncology experience for a long-term outpatient locums opportunity in Massachusetts.

This is a 1.0 FTE position offering a consistent 4-day-per-week schedule , with the potential to extend beyond the initial 1-year commitment.

Local candidates are preferred , but travel candidates are welcome if they can commit to a consistent schedule.

SCHEDULE & LOCATIONS

40 hours/week | 4 days/week | 8 clinic sessions

Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM4:30 PM

The ideal provider will cover all 4 days across both locations:

Fitchburg, MA Health Alliance, Burbank Campus
Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center

• 2 days/week
• 4 clinic sessions

Worcester, MA UMass Medical Cancer Center
University Campus

• 2 days/week
• 4 clinic sessions

Flexible Coverage: Providers who are only available 2 days/week at one location may also be considered.

CLINICAL DETAILS

• 1016 patients/day
• General Medical Oncology with primarily GI oncology
• Epic EMR
• APP support
• RN Navigator support
• Director and Clinic Manager on site
• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Massachusetts medical license REQUIRED
• Hematology/Oncology fellowship REQUIRED
• DEA Required
• CSR Required
• Ability to commit to a consistent schedule
