Job Description:

Project Manager / Public Health IT Modernization Lead

Education / Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Experience: Preferably 8+ years of experience managing IT projects, with experience in healthcare, public health, government, data modernization, application modernization, or enterprise system implementation projects.

Project planning and execution

Schedule and milestone management

Risk and issue management

Resource and subcontractor coordination

Stakeholder management

Deliverable tracking and quality oversight

Healthcare/public-health IT project experience

System modernization and implementation projects

Executive and status reporting

Coordination across technical, functional, QA, business, and training teams

Preferred Experience:

Federal or State Government projects

Healthcare or public-health modernization projects

Fixed-price, deliverable-based projects

Data and analytics projects

Public-health surveillance or health information systems

PMP or equivalent certification

Roles and Responsibilities: The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and delivery. The resource will coordinate activities among Minto Group, My3Tech, IHS stakeholders, subcontractors, technical resources, public-health SMEs, QA resources, and training/documentation teams.

Responsibilities will include managing project schedules, deliverables, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and stakeholder communications. The Project Manager will monitor progress against the required Task 1 through Task 4 deliverables, coordinate status meetings, support quarterly reporting, manage action items and escalations, and ensure the project remains aligned with IHS requirements, schedule, quality expectations, and acceptance criteria.
