Packager - 3rd shift

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Packager for third-shift operations in Warsaw, Indiana to perform packaging and assembly functions on sterile and non-sterile medical devices. The role includes operating packaging machinery, conducting inspections, and maintaining clean room compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machines to seal, label, and inspect products to specification
- Perform cleaning of fixtures, grit blasting, and micro-blasting on implants; conduct 100% visual inspections
- Perform etching and PMMA overspray removal as required by process procedures
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure safe, clean work area compliant with GMP and cleanroom regulations
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify packaging accuracy and inspect filled containers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions
- Physical capability to stand 100% of shift and lift 25–35 lbs repeatedly
- Legible reading and writing in English; able to pass written examinations
- Ability to perform intricate detail work on repetitive basis
- Manufacturing experience preferred; NPI certification preferred or obtainable within 6 months
