During your first 90 days, you'll receive structured support designed to help you build confidence and strengthen your clinical skills. Your onboarding includes: A personalized orientation plan with a dedicated clinical mentor. A gradual increase in your caseload so you can focus on learning while building confidence. Weekly one-on-one mentoring to review cases, ask questions, and receive clinical feedback. Hands-on training in pediatric handling, positioning, adaptive equipment, facilitation techniques, documentation, and clinical decision-making. Opportunities to observe experienced therapists across multiple disciplines and collaborate on complex cases. Access to our clinical resource library, including competency guides, treatment resources, orientation videos, documentation templates, and clinical workflows. About the Position As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat children with a wide range of diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, genetic syndromes, orthopedic conditions, autism, and other medically complex diagnoses. Working alongside occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and other pediatric specialists, you'll develop individualized treatment plans that improve mobility, independence, and participation in everyday life. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, goals, and functional needs. Provide skilled interventions including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, positioning, balance training, manual techniques, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Educate families and caregivers so therapy continues beyond the clinic. Collaborate daily with PTs, OTs, SLPs, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You want a career where you'll continue growing for years to come. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current Texas Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure. Passion for pediatrics and helping children with complex medical needs reach their fullest potential. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. Clinical rotations in pediatrics are welcomed, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
