Occulytics is a market intelligence and data company built for senior living.

We help operators, owners and capital partners understand who actually lives in and moves into their communities, and what that means for their market. Our Data Platform (Market Intel, Lead Intel and Lead Gen) turns that into decisions about where to market, which leads to prioritize and where to grow. Our Advisory practice works alongside clients on the harder strategic questions.

The role

We're hiring a Marketing Specialist to run marketing execution day to day.

This is a high-energy role built around execution. You'll turn our marketing plan into content, campaigns, web updates and sales materials that go out the door every week. You'll also learn how that plan gets made, working directly with our leadership on what we say and why. You will be instrumental in influencing our go to market and creative strategy.

You'll report to Evan, our Head of Growth. You'll also partner with Kim Studzinski, our Head of Client Success, on customer stories and materials clients actually use. For the right person, there's a real growth path here as marketing scales, including toward leading it.

What you'll own

• Content. Write and publish blog posts, LinkedIn posts and educational pieces built from the themes our team hears on client and prospect calls. Turn client results into case studies.
• Website. Keep our Webflow site current: new pages, copy updates, launches and the conversion paths that turn visitors into conversations.
• Sales enablement. Build and maintain the one-pagers, product overviews and decks our team uses with prospects and clients.
• Brand and design. Design the visuals for what we publish, from social graphics to sales materials, and keep our brand guidelines and writing voice consistent across all of it.
• Events. Run the marketing around industry conferences: outreach, materials, sponsorships, and the follow-through after.
• Measurement. Track what each piece and campaign produces, so we keep doing what works and stop what doesn't.

What success looks like

First 30 days: learn our products, our customers and the senior living market. Ship your first pieces of content and take over day-to-day website updates.

First 90 days: you're publishing on a steady rhythm, with a weekly review from Evan. Sales materials are current. You've run marketing for at least one conference or campaign from start to finish.

Ongoing, we'll measure you on:

• Inbound conversations that come from content and the website
• Meetings booked from campaigns and events
• Pipeline marketing helped create
• Materials the sales and client success teams actually use

Who you are

Required:

• 2 to 4 years in marketing, ideally B2B. Internships and side projects count
• A strong writer who can take a rough idea or a call recording and turn it into something worth reading
• Comfortable in a website platform (Webflow a plus) and quick to pick up new tools
• Design skills. You can produce clean social graphics, one-pagers, infographics and slides yourself in a tool like Canva or Figma.
• You ship without being chased. Clear priorities are enough; you don't need step-by-step direction
• Hungry to learn. You want feedback, take it well, and get better every week

Nice to have:

• Experience in senior living, healthcare or healthcare technology
• Event or conference marketing experience

Details

Location - Chicago, hybrid (2 to 3 days a week)

Reports to - Evan Friedkin – Head of Growth

Compensation - $70,000 to $85,000 base, plus performance-based variable
