Position Summary: The ITS Application Analyst I (for EPIC Cadence/Referrals) will have primary responsibility for design, build/configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support/troubleshooting of the Epic Grand Cadence & Referrals modules and other identified associated applications. They will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the application functionality and acquiring/utilizing knowledge of operational workflows used with the Epic system. The Analyst will follow internal CareConnect build, change control and issue management policies and procedures. They will complete in depth and precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality to deliver on expected outcomes. Attention to detail and customer focus are critical skills for this position. Successful candidates enjoy helping others learn and adopt usage of the application. They will work closely with our Revenue Cycle Systems, system vendors, consultants, all CareConnect applications teams, and technical services to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.QualificationsRequirements and Specifications: Epic Application or healthcare IT experience is preferred. MS Office is required. Preferred Epic Certifications/Proficiencies in Non-Acute areas such as: Cadence/Prelude/Referrals Associates degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment required Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or a Clinical area is preferred At least 5 years relevant experience in a challenging healthcare environment strongly preferred Knowledge/experience of Patient Registration, Scheduling, Referrals, Authorizations, Insurance Verification is also preferred.
