Job Description

Assist the Pathologist in the gross room and autopsies and is responsible for a variety of duties including: assisting at frozen sections, assisting at fine needle aspiration biopsies, stocking and delivery of supplies, transport specimens and slides, filing, answering telephone, handling hazardous materials; and accurately labeling and numbering the cases. Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectation to be completed in a specified timeframe.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Minimum 1 year hospital histology laboratory experience required.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
