Engineering Business Analyst III (Gas Engineering)
Overview
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Gas Engineering capital planning, financial analysis, budgeting, and regulatory activities. This role serves as a liaison between Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Regulatory teams, providing financial insights and reporting to support capital project decisions and rate case filings.
Required Skills
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling experience.
- Advanced SAP and Excel skills.
- Experience with capital planning, variance analysis, project costing, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience collaborating across engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory groups.
Preferred Background
- Utility, energy, engineering, operations, or capital project environments.
- Experience supporting rate cases and regulatory filings.
- Knowledge of capital project accounting and investment analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, engineering, operations, or business analysis.
