Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients, evaluating their concerns and circumstances to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities, to address various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Provide crisis intervention and support during sessions, ensuring immediate safety and stability for clients who may be in distress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and support staff, to coordinate care effectively and address the holistic needs of your clients. Maintain accurate, confidential client records in alignment with ethical legal standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with the latest research, trends, and evidence-based practices in mental health counseling. Participate in regular case consultations and supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback for ongoing professional growth. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients include a diverse spectrum of individuals, couples, and families seeking support for various mental health challenges. You will engage with clients from different cultural backgrounds and ages, adapting your approach to meet their specific needs while promoting a safe and inclusive therapeutic space. Your role is integral in helping them navigate their mental health journeys while fostering resilience and personal growth. Qualifications A master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. At least two years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families in a clinical setting. Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds. A strong commitment to cultural competence and inclusive practice in mental health care. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for documentation and client record-keeping. A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Preferred Experience Experience with teletherapy or virtual counseling platforms is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and therapeutic modalities specific to various mental health concerns. Prior experience working with crisis management and providing interventions in acute situations. Compensation and Benefits Bright Mind Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure.
