About the Role

Early June is seeking a strategic and technical Senior Growth Marketing Manager to drive performance strategy and elevate lead-level client partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for leading paid performance initiatives, with a primary focus on Google Ads and a strong secondary focus on Paid Social channels (e.g., Meta).

As a senior leader on our client-facing team, you will serve as a true strategic partner to our clients. Beyond campaign execution, you will answer big-picture growth questions - advising clients on channel expansion, landing page experimentation, audience insights, and deep performance troubleshooting.

We operate with an AI-first mindset. You will actively leverage AI tools, custom automations, and AI-supported workflows to streamline performance monitoring, scale ad operations, and deliver elevated marketing intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Client Partnership & Consulting
• Serve as the senior strategic lead across key agency clients, fostering trusted, high-value relationships through proactive communication and strategic foresight.
• Guide clients through multi-channel growth strategy, identifying adjacent growth channels, new market opportunities, and landing page testing frameworks.
• Perform deep-dive performance diagnostic work to troubleshoot campaign volatility, tracking discrepancies, and conversion bottlenecks.
• Translate complex performance data into clear executive summaries, actionable insights, and high-impact growth roadmaps.
• Paid Search & Paid Social Leadership
• Architect, launch, and optimize high-budget Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and YouTube.
• Lead strategy and performance across secondary channels, primarily Meta Ads, ensuring cross-channel synergy and brand consistency.
• Conduct advanced keyword evaluation, audience targeting analysis, competitive auction analysis, and negative targeting strategies.
• Design and execute ongoing ad copy iterations, creative testing frameworks, and landing page CRO experiments.
• AI Innovation & Workflow Automation
• Pioneer and implement AI-first workflows to scale client campaign research, creative ideation, copy generation, and data analysis.
• Utilize AI automations to optimize routine bid adjustments, anomaly detection, and automated performance reporting.
• Continuously explore and integrate emerging AI platforms and marketing tech tools to keep Early June at the cutting edge of digital performance agency operations.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience managing high-budget paid search and paid media campaigns.
• Primary Mastery in Google Ads: Deep technical expertise in Search, PMax, Demand Gen, and YouTube strategy.
• Secondary Proficiency in Paid Social: Proven track record running performance-driven Meta campaigns.
• High-Touch Client Experience: Demonstrated ability to act as a primary account lead and executive consultant.
• AI-First Mindset: Practical experience applying AI support tools, prompt engineering, or automations to daily marketing and workflow processes.
• Data & Analytics Fluency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Google Analytics (GA4), and reporting platforms like Looker Studio or Tableau.
• Setup: An efficient home office setup including an external monitor and a dedicated workspace.
