Civil or Mechanical Engineer - Entry Level

Entry-Level Engineer – Farnsworth Group Posting Locations: Frisco, TX; Lisle, IL; St. Louis, MO What You’ll Do Support telecommunication and utility‑related project development Complete site visits including but not limited to surveying, locating, and documenting existing conditions (may include overnight travel depending on job location) Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities Design telecommunications and other utility projects using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other design software What You’ll Need BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution 0–3 years of experience Exposure to transportation plans, telecommunications, or utilities is a plus Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus Computer proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project Strong written and oral communication skills Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license Nice to Haves Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Salary Range $69,000 – $81,000 (salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal and external equity) Benefits 401(k) with 100% Company Match up to 5% Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Plans Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts Short & Long‑Term Disability Maternity and Paternity Leave Professional Development and Training Mentoring Program Paid Time Off Wellness/Fitness Reimbursements Pet Insurance Plan Hybrid Work Program Statement on Diversity and Inclusion Farnsworth Group is a collection of employees with unique backgrounds and perspectives that all come together to make us a better company.
