CRNA Position OverviewWhite Plains Hospital Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 26-week contract. The position offers 10 or 12-hour shifts available, no call, and includes lodging at $161/day, car rental at $475/week, and a $15k completion bonus. The hospital has 17 CRNAs and about 45 MDs in a young, collaborative group.CRNA Responsibilities:Pre-anesthetic evaluationPreparation of health history, physical exam, diagnostic studies, and pre-anesthetics medicationsInformed consent for anesthesia, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergencePreoperative and intra-operative careEquipment, monitors, supplies, and drugs management for anesthesia administrationAnesthetics, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids, and blood products selection and administrationAirway management, peripheral venous catheters insertion, and Bier Blocks managementNon-invasive monitoring modalities utilizationPatient response evaluation during emergence from anesthesia and pharmacological or supportive treatmentPost-anesthesia follow-up evaluation of patient's response to anesthesia and surgical experienceRespiratory support initiation and administration to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenationPharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system during the post-anestheticCRNA Requirements:Graduated from an accredited program in nurse anesthesia educationCertified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)Licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a current, valid, unrestricted license in the state of New YorkAt least one full year (12 months) of experience as a CRNAPossess BLS and ACLS certificationKurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
