The Mechanical Engineer intern will be working under the supervision of the Lead Mechanical Engineer to support the maintenance of these products.Essential Job FunctionsTechnical Review of the Component Maintenance Manual and update all the supporting documentsAssist the Engineer:Reviewing and updating of technical documentation for torque validationVerifying all the torque equipment used by techniciansCreating 3D models of torque adapter with SolidWorksProvide support to technicians with technical questionsProvide weekly summary report of projects and tasksOther duties may be assigned.Job RequirementsRequired CompetenciesEducation/ExperienceCurrently majoring in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering fieldKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHas basic skills in analytical or scientific methodHas basic knowledge in engineering conceptsBasic knowledge in mechanical analysis related to kinematics, tolerance stack-ups, and strength / robustnessFamiliar with 3D modeling software such as Solidworks, CATIA, Pro\E, and AutoCADFamiliar with standard mechanical engineering toolsBasic knowledge of electronic tools (Multi-meter, Power Supply, etc.)Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointLegally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorshipThis position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
