.NET developer II

Role Description

The .Net Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying complex information systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
• Devising or modifying application systems and procedures to optimize functional requirements.
• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, subroutines, and scripts.
• Serving in various project team roles, such as project lead or technical lead.
• Enhancing the design of current systems to meet changing business needs.
• Working with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Developing and implementing program/system test plans.
• Maintaining technical skill set for software languages, databases, platforms, and networks.
• Assisting in preparing and maintaining application design documents.
• Responding to system failures and performance events to reduce downtime.
• Conducting presentations to educate end users on developed systems.
• Providing technical leadership on assigned projects.
• Coordinating work assignments and verifying results of analysis and programming personnel.
• Providing guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 5 - 7 years experience in systems analysis and programming with .Net.
• Facets Batch C# experience.
• Prefer 834 Medicare Enrollment experience.
• SQL server experience.
• Experience in the health insurance industry preferred.
• Knowledge of information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Ability to interpret and translate technical concepts into meaningful information.
• Excellent communication skills in technical and non-technical forms.
• Proven analysis, design, and coding skills.
