Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients following physician orders and referrals
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) per practice acts and facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
- Active Iowa state Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain before start)
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
Education
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Discharge planning and clinical documentation
- Supervision of COTAs
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
- Knowledge of state/federal regulations and facility guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
