Location: Annapolis, MD (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming out of a public + private accounting background , ideally with experience in private equity and/or real estate , who wants to take ownership of key financial processes and lead a small team.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the monthly close process , ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review investor reporting , working closely with internal stakeholders
• Support accounting and reporting for open-ended funds
• Supervise and mentor a team of 3 direct reports
• Partner with leadership, including a highly supportive and experienced CFO
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies across accounting operations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
• Public + private accounting experience highly preferred
• Exposure to private equity and/or real estate industries
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, reporting, and close processes
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
