Maintenance/Grounds/Shuttle driver

The Maintenance/Grounds/Shuttle driver is responsible for supporting the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of school facilities and grounds. This position performs routine maintenance, minor repairs, and landscaping duties to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Also drives our 15 passenger shuttle between two campuses 2 hours a day

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, painting, basic electrical, and carpentry tasks)
Maintain school grounds, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and seasonal cleanup (snow removal, leaf removal)
Assist with setup and teardown for school events and activities
Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs
Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and in good working condition
Follow all safety procedures and school policies
Safely drive students between two school locations according to a set schedule

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to pass background check (and fingerprinting if required)
Punctual, dependable, and professional demeanor
