We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Accountant to support the Fiscal Services Unit within OCDE's Administrative Services Division. This key role is responsible for coordinating specialized financial reporting, providing technical guidance to staff, and ensuring accurate, timely compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: • Associate's degree in accounting or a related field. • Four (4) years of progressively responsible accounting experience, one of which involved project or grant fund accounting; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. • Experience in a public agency or educational institution is preferred.
