E-COMMERCE & WHOLESALE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Pay: $80,000 - $95,000

POSITION OVERVIEW

The E-commerce & Wholesale Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, structure, and performance of E-commerce operations, including all Destination Knitting wholesale orders.

This role owns the company's 24-hour shipping commitment, ensuring customer and wholesale orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. The position will build scalable processes, develop leaders, manage operational performance, and ensure the right systems and resources are in place to support continued growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the company's 24-hour ship commitment, ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and shipped within 24 hours of being placed.

• Increase year-over-year E-commerce sales through operational efficiencies and reduction of errors.

• Forecast E-commerce and wholesale volume, labor needs, and operational capacity using historical performance and sales metrics.

• Staff each labor function appropriately to consistently meet the 24-hour shipping window.

• Establish departmental priorities, performance metrics, cost-reduction initiatives, and objectives aligned with annual budgets and ROI expectations.

• Develop and implement business goals through clear direction, accountability, and leadership.

• Establish and continuously improve operational processes, workflows, and team structures to support growth and scalability.

• Establish and execute sustainable inventory control measures to maintain accuracy across multiple warehouse locations.

• Build and maintain a structured training program covering onboarding, cross-training, and documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Serve as the escalation point for high-impact or complex operational issues, resolving issues independently whenever possible.

• Partner with leadership on business changes and assist the warehouse with cross-functional discussions.

• Analyze operational metrics and trends and provide regular, actionable updates to upper management regarding performance, key trends, and overall department health.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience leading multiple layers of leadership.

• Proven experience managing operations through rapid growth and organizational scaling.

• Experience managing labor productivity metrics within a fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environment.

• Demonstrated ability to design processes and improve operational systems.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to balance long-term operational planning with short-term business needs.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity while creating clarity, structure, and direction.
