Job Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Jefferson County, Alabama 35213 Pay Rate: $16.00/hr Shift: Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize materials.
- Transport products and materials throughout the warehouse or facility.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use and report any issues.
- Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory and follow proper storage procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
