Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – South Florida**Start Date:** August 18, 2026**Location:** Miami, Florida**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 4-day schedule with rotating weekends and on-call requirements. RN will function as both scrub and circulator across all service lines. On-call requirements include 2 weeknight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 2 weekend 24-hour calls, and 1 holiday 24-hour call per 4-week period.**Highlights:**- 29-bed Operating Room in a 488-bed acute care facility with Joint Commission Gold Seal accreditation- Comprehensive service lines including joint replacement, orthopedics, spine, ENT, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery- Collaborative team environment with staffing that includes 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Surgical Techs, and clinical coordinator per shift- 3:1 patient ratio with Meditech EMR system- Facility recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Blue Distinction award recipient- State-of-the-art Cardiology Center and Arrhythmia Syncope Center on-site**Requirements:**- Active Florida RN license or ability to obtain- BLS and ACLS certifications required- Minimum 2 years of current acute OR experience required- Demonstrated experience in orthopedics, spine, and joint replacement (knee and hip) required- Must be competent in both scrub and circulator roles across all service lines- PALS, CNOR, and charge experience preferred- Critical thinking skills with ability to multitask and maintain excellent patient care standards**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity, multi-specialty Operating Room within a Gold Seal-accredited acute care facility.
