The intern will have hands‑on experience in project planning, execution, and support within a dynamic engineering environment. The intern will assist in various phases of engineering projects, gaining exposure to real‑world applications of engineering principles and project management. Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED – Required Enrolled in an engineering bachelor’s program Core Competencies: Technical Aptitude Understanding of engineering principles and practices Analytical Thinking Strong problem‑solving skills Communication Skills Clear and professional verbal and written communication Team Collaboration Works effectively in cross‑functional teams Initiative and Adaptability Proactive in taking on tasks and seeking learning opportunities Adapts to changing priorities and project needs Software Proficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) AutoCAD is a plus. Supports efforts to maintain a safe and compliant work environment Behavioral Competencies: Accountability Takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities Collaboration Works well with others across departments and levels Integrity Acts with honesty and professionalism Curiosity and Learning Agility Shows eagerness to learn new skills and concepts Key Responsibilities (What/How): Support project engineers in planning, scheduling, and executing engineering projects Support from low to medium complexity projects, including detailed planning to execution and final delivery Assistance on developments, implementations and manufacturing/building improvements Pilot tests and prototypes to evaluate machine applicability and efficiency Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentation Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, process, quality, and maintenance Additional duties as assigned Physical Demands: Ability to move around manufacturing floors, construction sites, or project areas, including walking, standing, or climbing stairs/ladders for extended periods. Ability to hear alarms, instructions, and communications in noisy environments. May be required to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., tools, equipment, samples) when necessary.
