This position is critical for ensuring the operational readiness of a key government manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient environment by applying your extensive maintenance expertise to a variety of systems and equipment. This role directly contributes to our client's success by ensuring their facility runs smoothly and without interruption.What your day-to-day will look like:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on systems including restrooms, HVAC, general plumbing, boilers, and cooling towersManage and complete work orders received through the help desk, responding to customer requests in a timely mannerConduct general building maintenance, which may include tasks such as painting, changing filters and belts, and setting up conference roomsMaintain and manage inventories of spare and replacement parts to ensure availability for repairsMonitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Building Monitoring Systems (BMS) to ensure proper functionAdhere to all employee safety training and utilize pre-task planning methods to ensure a safe work environmentComply with all Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed policies and proceduresRequired Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of one year of working experience in general building repair, maintenance, basic plumbing, and electricalDemonstrated experience in plumbing, preventative maintenance, and work order managementA valid state driver's licenseExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., work from ladders up to 30 feet, and climb ladders with a 300-lb weight limit while carrying toolsMust be presentable and professional, as the role is client-facingPreferred Qualifications:Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirableIndustry certifications in HVAC or other relevant tradesExperience working in a government or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Building Monitoring Systems (BMS)Experience with safety programs and the use of a Pre-Task Planning processThis position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Estimated compensation for this position:50,300.00 – 75,500.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
