In this role, you’ll develop and deliver complex project estimates, support cost planning efforts, and help guide estimating activities across engineering and construction projects.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on challenging projects, collaborating with project controls and program teams, and bringing technical estimating expertise to high-impact work. Location: Houston, TX or Denver, COSchedule: Hybrid — onsite 20% of the timeWhat You’ll DoPrepare detailed cost estimates for Oil & Gas projects and programsDevelop quantity takeoffs from drawings, plans, specifications, and concept documentsBuild estimate narratives and Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentationApply labor, materials, equipment, indirect costs, fees, taxes, and margins to develop complete project cost estimatesReview scope changes, contract modifications, and estimate impactsSupport vendor and subcontractor pricing effortsReview estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with proceduresProvide guidance to junior estimators and support estimating best practicesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of estimating experienceExtensive experience with midstream and/or gas utility Experience with field estimating and construction management activitiesExperience with estimating database softwareStrong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction contract documentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and lead estimating efforts when neededTools & SystemsExperience with tools such as:PrimaveraEstimate/Schedule Transfer toolsContract ManagerDMCSSecurity Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
