• Salary range: approximately $80,000 - $120,000 annually , depending on experience

About the Opportunity


Star Nursing is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a hospital-based imaging team in Medford, Oregon.


This role focuses on performing high-quality CT imaging while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and compliance with clinical standards.


Position Summary


The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT scans based on physician orders, using advanced imaging equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, patient care skills, and the ability to adapt imaging techniques based on patient condition and clinical needs.


Primary Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders
• Adjust imaging techniques based on patient condition and anatomy
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Education meeting certification/licensure requirements
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Oregon Medical Imaging License (upon hire)
• One of the following required upon hire:
  • ARRT (Radiography) certification
  • Nuclear Medicine certification
• One of the following required within 1 year of hire:
  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • NMTCB CT certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior CT experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Experience working night shifts in a fast-paced environment
