Position: CT Technologist

Location: GMC, Connecticut

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM)

Schedule: Friday/Saturday/Sunday

Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. The ideal candidate will operate computerized tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of designated areas of the human body for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Proficiency is required in trauma stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine exams.

Responsibilities

Operate Siemens CT scanners in a Level 2 trauma center.
Perform complex imaging procedures on emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.
Produce high-quality films of designated portions of the human body.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CT imaging.
Current BLS certification.
ARRT certification in CT.

Holiday Expectations

The candidate must be willing to work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
