School Speech Language Pathologist - West Chester, Pennsylvania

Job Description Make a meaningful difference supporting children’s communication skills in a collaborative educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking both part-time and full-time options. The position involves serving pre-school populations as an itinerant SLP, traveling to various schools in and around West Chester, PA. Openings include full-time roles in Drexel Hill/Upper Darby and Aston (4-5 days/week), as well as part-time (3 days/week) assignments in Ridley/Woodlyn and potentially Springfield. Additionally, full-time SLPs are needed for the Low Incidence Program. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred Passion for working with diverse pre-school populations Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (itinerant travel required) Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to promote student progress Document progress and maintain accurate records for assigned caseload Travel to and between assigned pre-schools within Broomall, Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Aston, Ridley/Woodlyn, and Springfield Enjoy flexible scheduling, with opportunities to work 2-5 days per week, allowing the perfect balance between professional impact and personal needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bilingual Therapies
