• License/Certs: Indiana State Driver's License (preferred, not mandatory)
• Experience: Prior child welfare or investigation experience preferred, but not required

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note, pay package will be discussed upon application)

What You'll Do:

• Conduct investigations into reports of child maltreatment, including abuse, neglect, and exploitation
• Perform safety and risk assessments of children and family situations
• Develop and monitor safety plans for at-risk children
• Gather evidence, interview involved parties, and document all activities accurately
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations to courts and legal authorities
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams, and community agencies
• Maintain detailed case records adhering to policies and standards

What You Need:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and assessments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with child welfare or investigations
• Knowledge of local child protective services protocols
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and cultural competency
