Job Description Substitute School Nurse Job Summary: Strengthen and facilitate the educational process by modifying or removing health‑related barriers to learning. Promote optimal levels of well‑being in students and staff. Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating school health program goals, objectives, and procedures in cooperation with school personnel and community resources. Qualifications: Must have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Must have a minimum of two years of supervised nursing experience in community health, child health, or a related field prior to entry into school nursing practice. 2026‑2027 Approved Salary: $35.87 per hour Candidates with foreign language fluency are encouraged to apply.
