Title of Position:Speech Pathologist - district-wide

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Common Core Learning Standards and NY state assessments

• The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool

• Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement

• Broad experience with a variety of counseling/de escalation techniques

• Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners

• Evidence of strong management skills with age appropriate experiences

• Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff

• Loyalty and evidence of being a team player

• Willingness to visit student homes

• Experience and understanding with working with students on the Autism spectrum

• Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community
