This role involves working within an Intermediate/Step Down Cardiac Unit, providing care for post-operative coronary patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Provide care for patients in an Intermediate/Step Down Cardiac Unit
• Interpret heart rhythms and manage post-operative heart surgeries
• Perform trach care, chest tube management, and start IVs
• Administer specified drips: Heparin, Primacor, Amiodarone, Dobutamine
• Collaborate with support staff, including PCA/CNA and respiratory therapy

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Specific training in heart rhythm interpretation and phlebotomy
