You will create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line and ensure we achieve our critical well managed objectives. You will help define process improvements including tool creation and evolution, achieve buy-in, and drive execution across our business. You will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity. You will educate and partner with key stakeholders concerning the utilization of processes to ensure appropriate execution each time.General Responsibilities:Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reportsDesigning, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirementsEnsuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time.Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intentPartnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project deliveryBuilding relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitmentsExhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project and program effortsDemonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environmentDisplay a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership styleDriving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes by decomposing customer needs and defining clear deliverables and timelinesAnalyzing, identifying, and correcting data issues with systems used or owned by a departmentHave excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomesManaging and leading a team of associatesBasic Qualifications:At least 7 years of Project Management experienceAt least 3 years of Process Management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or Military ExperiencePMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certificationAt least 8 years of Project Management experienceAt least 1 year of People Management experienceAt least 5 years of Process Management experienceAt least 2 years of experience in Compliance or Risk ManagementAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.This role is hybrid meaning associates spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementRichmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
