Role Overview

Servers play a pivotal role in the guest experience at Ascension Coffee, providing genuine hospitable service in a warm environment.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Greeting all guests with genuine hospitality
• Taking guest's drink and food orders
• Ensuring that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• Suggesting different drinks, appetizers, and meals to customers based on the menu and coffee
• Working closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
• Confirming orders with the baristas, chefs, and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
• Assisting with setting and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Strong customer service skills required
• Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus
• Extensive training provided

Qualifications

One year of high volume server experience.
