Clinical Specialist III, CPT - Virginia Beach, VA

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist III for its Neuromodulation business in Virginia Beach. The role supports sales teams in chronic pain and movement disorder therapies, requiring clinical expertise, device knowledge, and strong customer relationships in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue-generating projects and support account ownership within territory
• Provide technical, clinical, and programming assistance to Territory Managers and customers
• Develop and deliver educational programs, in-services, and training on products and therapies
• Train new Clinical Specialists and provide after-hours support as needed
• Evaluate capital equipment opportunities and develop sales strategies for accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent education and work experience
• 5+ years clinical patient care experience
• 3+ years medical devices industry experience with inventory management exposure
• Exceptional clinical competence and proficiency in complex programming
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory and work unpredictable schedules
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills across organizational levels
