Banquet Chef - FT

Banquet Kitchen Manager

Lead and manage all banquet kitchen operations for high-volume events and catered functions. Plan, organize, and supervise food preparation and production to ensure consistency, quality, and timely execution. Execute banquet menus for events ranging from VIP dining experiences to large-scale events. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership on menu development, seasonal offerings, and specialty event menus. Maintain exceptional food presentation and adherence to luxury hospitality standards. Lead, coach, and develop culinary team members. Monitor labor, food costs, waste, and inventory to achieve budgetary goals and operational efficiencies. Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards are consistently maintained. Participate in hiring, scheduling, performance management, and training of banquet culinary staff. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of experience in a full-service food and beverage operation (or other alternative as deemed appropriate).
• Strong knowledge of banquet production, food presentation, and elevated dining standards.
• Experience managing large-scale events with multiple simultaneous functions.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience with inventory and labor management systems.
